The Institute for Minesurveying cultivates cooperation to several chinese universities.
During a visit of Mrs. Hannelore Kraft, Premier of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, and Mr. Garrelt Duin, Minister of Economic Affairs, in April 2015, three agreements about future coloboration were signed under the leadership of Mr. Axel Preuße, head of the Institute for Minesurveying at RWTH Aachen University.
- Memorandum of Understanding with the School of Environmental Science and Spatial Informatics at China University of Mining and Technology to enable exchange of scientific staff
- Planned intensification of scientific colaboration together with the Sino-German Center for Energy and Environment in Mining Areas
- Agreement of cooperation with the Shanxi Coking Coal Group Co. Ltd. to enable foundation research organizations
On the basis of these agreements, the Institute for Minesurveying will proceed with common projects together with Chineses Universities.
